I have read the other post and I must agree the compliants are valid. I have lived here for two years (2003-2005)and recently I have given my notice to vacate. I must agree with everything that was said. Firstly I want to say there is a new office staff up front that wasn't orgianlly here before. So lets give hats off to Lavern (the orginal property mgr) and here crew (Pam, Ann and Chrissa) that once made this place a great place to live. Since the new office staff has come into play my smile has now turned into a frown. This property is on its way to being the ghetto as said before in the other post. The office staff are not only rude but again clueless. I recently had my car towed (my fault) but when I went to office they had no idea of the company who they had tow the car. I asked the leasing staff to call the property manger and again she had no idea who towed the car. The bigest problem is that she didn't feel responsible that she should know, because she said she didn't call it in. It took an hour and a half to find out what company they used. After speaking with her manger at Alco Mangement, Kathy, she stated they advised her that they gave me the info in 30min. I am not sure what clock they use but 10:00-11:30 is defintely 1hour and 30min in the US. When I went back up to the office to speak with the property manger she is looking at me as if that shouldn't be a problem. Due to their incompitence it cost me $210 which would have been $150 if I was given the info sooner. Maintence Staff is nice overall but there is no point of having a maintence supervisor (david) on property or maintence on call if he doesn't answer the calls. This was not the only complaint, but before then I called several times about the gate being open as well as my neighbors, considering we are paying for a gated commuity. The gate didn't get closed until a young lady was almost raped on property. Note it is back open 24hrs again. I have sent emails to Alco Mangement about the rudeness of the office staff several months ago and they don't seem to care. Recently I spoke to one of the VP of the company that seems to be taking interest now in the residents concern with the new staff. I hate to say its kind of to late because the residents are moving out. If you are looking for a nice place in Cordova to live I advise you to drive right past the Registery unless you like to pay over $700 a month to live in the prettiest gheto out here.
