I've lived here for almost 3 years and am counting the days until June when I can get the heck out! I've never felt so unsafe in my life as I do in these apartments. The first two years were wonderful, but since it's gone under new management - ghetto is the best word to describe it. If you move into these apartments, you can expect a few things. The gates will always be open and when they do close them, you won't be able to get in because your card will be inactive. The trash compactor will break down once every 2 or 3 months and instead of just emptying the garbage, they'll bring out more dumpsters so that 2 or 3 of those massive things are sitting at the front gate with disgusting garbage - oh and they stay there for about a month. Expect to drive through drug deals and have them stare at you to the point that you think you will be shot at any second. Expect to be awoken all hours at night by loud, drunk men screaming obscenities at the top of their lungs or the couples that seem to think the only time to fight and break up is at 3:00 am outside. Know that a woman was attacked, but nothing was done about it. Also know that when you call to find out how to contact security that they will just tell you to call the police instead. The leasing staff is clueless - in example one night I came home to find 5 police cars with their lights on. Never did find out what was going on and the staff seems to know nothing about it. I've tried to talk to ALCO, but as of this point no one seems to think my problems are important.

Bottom line' Unless you get off on living in the ultimate hood of Cordova - I say stay away, stay far far away!
