I too have had similar problems at this complex. Management as been rude and uncaring and completely unresponsive to any requests. The cigarette smoke smell is also an issue in my unit. Another concern has been since the big summer storm in June, during which our windows leaked, the management has only made a single half-hearted attempt at fixing the damage. The did have a carpet guy come in and treat the wet carpet, but have made no attempt to remove the mold that has grown from the water. The tried to cover it up with a thin coat of paint and have refused to respond to our requests to take care of it.
The also said when we moved in that we would be able to have Roadrunner online, but Time Warner cable does not service the complex, they instead use another cable provider. We were also told that we would be allowed to install Directv, but when the technician arrived to install the system, they said they would not allow it. The "security gates" have been brokenthe majority of the time we have lived here, the trash dumpster is always full and residents just leave their garbage piled up around them. And in my area area of the complex, junk cars litter the parking lot taking up all of the parking space(in spite of their warnings to us as we moved in that any such vehicles would be towed at the owners expense). Please, for the love of God...do not move into this complex.
