I lived in a one bedroom for a year. I had no problems. It was quiet, never saw or heard from the neighbors, and I felt safe. My apartment was nice. I had no problems with bugs or noise. I even painted one of the walls in the apartment and put a coat of primer over it before I left and was refunded my entire security deposit. The cable system they had at the time sucked but I believe they have switched to Time Warner. The only problem I had occured a year after I moved out. I got a call from a collection agency saying that Gables claimed I owed them money. Luckily, I was able to get my canceled checks to prove that I didn't owe anything. Overall, I had a good experience.
