Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2003
After living at the Reserve for 3 years we left on a very bad note. The first year at the reserve was great, clean, quiet, well kept, and an incredible staff. The complex catered to the young successful apartment dweller. The parking lot emptied at 7am and filled back up in the evening. About a year, year and a half ago the office underwent a complete staffing change. Things got lax and issues were never addressed. We attributed this to new employees learning the ropes. Either they never learned or were never taut, things got worse. Now if you have a problem expect to feel like your bothering the staff, and plan on having to hound the them if you want your problem resolved. Around the same time the type of people moving in started to change as well. Not so much young successful, but just young, loud, inconsiderate, and unmotivated people. People on porches at all hours of the night drinking and yelling, Cars screeching there tires, littered parking lots and a a renewed police presence are now apart of living at the Reserve. If your looking for a quite safe place to live we would not recommend The Reserve At Dexter Lake. We moved out this month (march 03), and would have moved sooner if not for our lease.
