Take the advice of a former Property Manager

For the other reviewers who have complained about the noise, you couldn?t be more correct. For those who did not, perhaps they lived on top floor units. Now, in all fairness I must say I never heard a peep from my "next door" neighbors. The neighbors who lived above---well that?s another matter entirely. In fact, I had over 10 friends who ONCE lived here and 9 complained of the same thing. The one who didn't lived on the 3rd floor!
So what is the culprit behind the noise' Why the shoddy a#% construction, of course. If you live there now, try peeling back the carpet and look at that flimsy carpet pad. It?s the same grade as what goes in cheap mobile homes! I used to install carpet, so I should know!
Let's look at The Reserve's other foibles:
Parking --- If hiking a "country mile" in the pouring rain is your thing, you?ll be in bliss. Otherwise, think again!
Cheap vinyl --- Linoleum floors are the cheapest floors available and there are some linoleum floors that are at the lowest end of the spectrum. This is what you?ll get in your unit. Give it time, you?ll begin to see the adhesive underneath "bleed" through in places. Again, I used to install flooring so this is not a novice opinion.
Water/Pest Control --- 99.999999999999999% of all apartments include water/sewage/pest control as part of the rent package. Oh sure, you?re likely paying for it in the rent but at least you?re not inconvenienced with a separate bill each month. Does Mid-America Apartment Communities care one bit about inconveniencing their tenants' Are you kidding' These cheapskates have the audacity to inconvenience you each month with a separate bill for water/trash/pest control.
If you value any of the above concerns, keep on looking! Don?t be fooled by the lush landscaping around you, this is no Garden of Eden!!!!
