Apt life is always unpleasent but this is bad. I've lived here for 6 weeks with serious roach problems and I've complained about it for 5 weeks. Staff WAS responsive, but it took them 4 weeks to realize the scope of the problem. I blame the staff for not thoroughly inspecting the apt before I moved in because the roaches were obvious to me the day I moved in.
I live on the south side of the complex right next door to the Cici's Pizza place. The noise from the shopping center is very bad 6 nights a week. Some sort of skating rink over there or something because you can hear a couple of people on a PA system from 8pm to 12mid. AND, after that finishes, the garbage trucks (at least 2 of them) come to pickup in the shopping center at 2:30 AM!!! That pickup lasts about an hour. In addition the street noise from G-town Pkwy is bad most all night. So, if you move in here by all means get a place FAR away from G-town and the south side.
The worst part, they have now raised my rent! I'm paying more money to be uncomfortable. Only plus side for me is the apt's location.
Last comment; a few weeks ago there were several car break-ins. The apts sent out brochures telling us how to protect ourselves and property, but they said NOTHING about what they were going to do about it.... no increased security no request to police for help nothing from their side at all.

umm.. if they increased your rent that means you were on a month to month or you renewed the lease so in both cases you could have moved out?
