FIRST OFF, I AGREE WITH ONE OF THE OTHER RESIDENTS...YES, WHEN YOU PULL UP TO THE RESERVE, & SEE THE PROPERTY, IT IS BEAUTIFUL. SEE, YOU AS THE RESIDENT PAY FOR THAT GOOD LOOK ON THE OUTSIDE. THEY KEEP THE GROUNDS LOOKING NICE SO THEY CAN GET YOU TO MOVE IN. THEY TAKE YOU TO A BEAUTIFUL MODEL APARTMENT, BY THE LAKE... THE MANAGEMENT IS NICE, UNTIL YOU MOVE IN, & THEY REALLY GET UGLY WHEN YOUR LEASE IS UP AND YOU DON'T WANT TO SIGN ANOTHER ONE. THEY JUST ADD FEES, JACK UP YOUR CREDIT, & ALL SORTS OF THINGS TO MAKE YOU SAY, OKAY, I WILL SIGN ANOTHER LEASE!!!!

MY FAMILY & I MOVED IN JULY 1, 2006. WE ARE IN A 2 BEDROOM 2 BATH, BUT WE NEED MORE SPACE NOW. WE WERE PAYING MONTH TO MONTH FROM JULY TO NOW, UNTIL WE FOUND US A NEW PLACE TO MOVE TO.

NOW, EVERY MONTH THEY PUT LETTERS ON THE DOOR, BREAKING DOWN HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE IF WE SIGNED ANOTHER LEASE FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONTHS, AND HOW THEY ENJOYED US AS TENANTS, AND WOULD LOVE FOR US TO SIGN ANOTHER LEASE.... BUT AS SOON AS THEY REALLY SAW THAT WE DIDN'T WANT TO SIGN ANOTHER LEASE, & MY HUSBAND TOOK THEM A 30 DAY NOTICE.. THAT'S REALLY WHEN THEY BEGAN TO PICK WITH US... TO THIS DAY..THEY HAVE ADDED FEES TO OUR RENT EVERY MONTH, & THEY STILL CAN'T TELL US WHAT IT IS FOR... OF COURSE WE PAID THEM BECAUSE WE NEED A PLACE TO STAY... BUT THEY CAN'T TELL WHY ONE MONTH IT'S THIS PRICE, AND THE NEXT MONTH IT'S AN EXTRA $100, THEN THE NEXT MONTH, THEY DOUBLE THE FEE, & THE NEXT MONTH....IT JUST CONTINUES... NOW, IF THEY WERE HAVING PROBLEMS OUT OF US, I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD WANT US TO SIGN ANOTHER LEASE NOR WOULD THEY CONTINUE TO LET US STAY HERE!!! THEY STARTED THIS S**T, WHEN THEY SAW THAT WE WANTED TO LEAVE. I AM SITTING IN MY LIVING ROOM NOW, @ THE RESERVE @ DEXTER LAKE, INFORMING YOU ABOUT THESE ISSUES, & LISTENING TO MY NEIGHBORS ABOVE, TAP DANCE WITH A HORSE ON MY CEILING...SO OF COURSE, WE ARE STILL HERE...

WE FOUND US A PLACE & THE RESERVE TOLD THE NEW PLACE ALOT OF LIES ABOUT US. THEY NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT US!! WE DID THE AUTOMATED PAYMENT TO MAKE SURE THEY GOT THEIR RENT ON TIME... WELL, SINCE WE DIDN'T WANT TO SIGN ANOTHER LEASE, THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T BEING PAYED ON TIME.... WHY NOT, IT WAS AN AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL, EVERY MONTH, ON THE SAME DAY, FOR 2 YEARS, NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, IT'S LATE. THEY KNOW THAT IS BULL***T. SO SINCE WE COULDN'T MOVE TO ANOTHER PROPERTY BECAUSE OF THE RESERVE AND THE CROOKED WOMEN THAT WORK IN THAT OFFICE... WE SAID, OKAY WELL LET'S MOVE IN A LARGER APARTMENT HERE... WE VIEWED THE ONE WE WANTED TO SEE.. AND THEN THEY CALL & SAY, "YOU HAVE TO GO 6 MONTHS WITH NO LATE PAYMENTS BEFORE YOU CAN MOVE INTO ANOTHER UNIT." WTF''' IT WAS NEVER LATE!!! IT WASN'T LATE UNTIL THEY REALIZED WE DIDN'T WANT TO SIGN A LEASE!! THEY KNOW WE DON'T WANT TO STAY HERE, BUT SINCE WE HAVE NO CHOICE, WE WANTED A LARGER ONE, NOW WE CAN'T GET THAT... THEY FORCE YOU INTO ANOTHER LEASE... WHILE GOING TO THE LEASING OFFICE SEVERAL DAYS IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS... I SAW SEVERAL RESIDENTS COME IN COMPLAINING & ALOT OF THEM WERE REFUSING TO SIGN ANOTHER LEASE TOO!! THESE RESIDENTS ARE FED UP WITH THEIR, LIES, NASTY ATTITUDES, & NO SHOWS FOR MAINTENANCE. WE WERE PAYING OVER $1,050, MONTHLY, ONCE WE WERE NO LONGER IN A LEASE. WE WOULD ONLY HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE OVER $800, FOR THE LARGER APARTMENT, SO IT'S NOT THE PRICE... IT'S HOW THEY HAVE YOU BACKED IN A CORNER AND IT'S LIKE YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. IF THEY ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO TELL OTHER PROPERTY OWNERS THAT CALL THEM THAT WE WERE LATE, ONE DA** TIME, WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT STAY HERE BECAUSE WE WILL CONTINUE TO GET DENIED, SO WE SIGNED ANOTHER LEASE. I PERSONALLY DON'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH LETTING US MOVE INTO ANOTHER APARTMENT, SINCE YOU ALL WANT US IN A LEASE SO BAD, WHY NOT LET US MOVE INTO ANOTHER UNIT SO WE CAN SIGN ANOTHER ONE'''' THEY ARE JUST, ALL ABOUT THI AM SPEAKING FOR ALOT OF TENANTS, BECAUSE I SAW SEVERAL MEN & WOMEN COME UP THERE FUSSING, & CURSING ABOUT SOME OF THE SAME THINGS. NOW, LET ME GO BACK TO THE WOMEN IN THE OFFICE, ONLY 2 OF THEM, WE FEEL, REALLY CARE ABOUT THE TENANTS, THOSE 2 WOMEN ARE DEE & TONYA... BUT, THESE 2 WOMEN HAVE THEIR HANDS TIED, BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE FINAL WORD. THEY ARE THE LEASING CONSULTANTS. THOSE OTHER WOMEN, COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU.. LONG AS YOU PAY THEM AND STAY IN A LEASE, THEY ARE GOOD. BUT, ONCE YOU WANNA MOVE, OR DON'T WANT TO SIGN A LEASE...THEN YOU ARE A LATE TENANT & SUCH!!! AS LONG AS WE CONTINUE TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO SCREW NEW TENANTS!! NOW, NEW TENANTS, IT WILL SOUND LIKE A DEAL WHEN YOU SIGN A 1 YEAR LEASE WITH THEM, BUT PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE APPEARANCE OF THIS PLACE. YES, IT HAS A POOL, FITNESS CENTER, PAVILION, & TENNIS COURT, BUT THESE THINGS CLOSE NO LATER THAN 11. YOU HAVE TO PAY TO USE THE PAVILION... THE GATES ARE ALWAYS F**KED UP, FOR A GATED COMMUNITY, ANYONE THAT WANTS TO GET IN THESE GATES CAN. THEY NEED TO PUT A CROSS BAR UP THERE, THAT WILL COME DOWN AS SOON AS THE FIRST CAR CLEARS!!! AS LONG AS YOU PULL UP BEHIND THE CAR THAT IS ENTERING THE GATE, YOU WILL GET IN. OKAY, THEY MAY SAY, YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO COME WITH ACCESS, WELL, BETWEEN 3 GATES, NO ONE WILL HAVE TO WAIT LONG!! ALL THE RESERVE HAS GOING FOR THEM IS A NICE VIEW, 2 NICE LEASING CONSULTANTS & FRESH PAINT ON SOME OF THE BUILDINGS!! DO YOUR RESEARCH ON OTHER PROPERTIES IN THE AREA, AND YOU WILL SEE THAT THEY ARE JUST AS NICE, CHEAPER AND MORE ACCOMODATING...

NOW, BY SAYING ALL OF THIS, I AM PRETTY SURE THE WOMEN IN THE OFFICE KNOW EXACTLY WHO I AM, WHICH MEANS, THEY KNOW THEY ARE WRONG, AND I AM RIGHT. BECAUSE IF THIS DIDN'T STICK OUT TO THEM, & I WASN'T TELLING THE TRUTH, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE A CLUE OF WHO WE WERE!!

Um. if you were never late on payments all you would have to do is get a print out of everypayment that was ever posted from the office and show it to any new potential apartments you want to rent at.. and just fyo late to the reserves means anything after the 1st even thought there is a grace period.. so if you paid in the grace period but not before the 1st its still "late"

FYI, we did get a print out and take it to the properties that we were interested in, but as they stated, we could have very well made that ourselves. I am not sure if you are aware of it or not,but you can create anything on a computer these days. They still have to contact the property to get a certified answer about the tenants. Common sense should tell you or anyone else, if it were that easy, no one would ever have a problem renting from a place if that's all you needed to do. Oh, and another thing, this rent was automatically withdrawn on the 1rst of every month so come with something else. At the end of the day no matter what you may come back and say, I stick by what I said on 10/28/08. But, thank you so mcuh for your response and your unuseful information.GOD Bless you, and enjoy this Superbowl Sunday!!

Wow!!! It sounds like there is a lot of bottled up anger. I myself have lived in at The Reserve for 5 years. I don't know what you're talking about as far as the rudeness of the office staff but they have been nothing but sweet. Thats hard to come by during these times. I think when one does read, they will see that fees due incur especially when you're not under contract or lease, late rent, bounced check, etc. ( month to month which is a bit steep but it costs to be the boss!!) I have paid my rent on time monthly for 5 years!!!! It sounds like you didn't pay your rent on time and may have had eviction filed to not being able to transfer.....Each time that I transferred I was required to pass a credit check as I did when I first moved in. I didn't understnad why until it was explained to make sure that people have decent credit. I know that I wouldn't want to live next time some one the office did a mercy approval to let someone slide by. I am fortunate that I have the discilpine to do so. As far as calling service requests go Tim, Dan, or David is usually here by the time I get home unless they have to order a part or something. Gates.....Before my divorce I lived in an upscale community in Cordova where we were always having issues with gates, there were only 20 homes in our subdivision and we still had problems. With homes at that time starting at $500,000 I figured that I wouldn't have any problems, I was wrong!!! I considered moving away to different surrounds, nothing about The Reserve, just a change, but decided against it. They are courteous, prompt, we have a coffee bar with free coffee and wifi ( I don't go to starbucks anymore), lake with fish.... With the stress of my job when I come home I am at peace. If you are so unhappy just leave.... i'm sure they aren't begging you to stay besides I have a friend that is on a waiting list to move in. I would suggest The Reserve to anyone considering!!!

Ok I posted something before the last one and it has mysteriously disapeard but basically I said that it looks like Anonymous is a property manager and after reading the comments about this property I had considered viewing the property but no thanks. It looks to me like they are about the buck no mater what, and a 5 day grace period is a 5 day grace period, I guess unless you want to move on to better things then all of a sudden its not so gracious. Also if a credit check is so important and nesecary for a resident to move to another building it seems it would be as nesecary to stay in the one their in unless your being just plain evil. What goes around comes around and in these trying times your job and future are not as secure as you might think. I had considered viewing this property as a home for my small family, but disturbedwu I appreciate your honesty in this post, no thanks on this property I see people complaining of hiddend and unexplainable fees all over the place. It looks to me like honesty is a hard thing to come by in this world. People are nice to your face all day long its what they are doing behind your back that gets me, all the dishonesty. Thanks again I will not be considering this property.
