Home is where my heart is.

Apartment living isn't for everyone. Country living, where neighbors were acres away, was my norm. But circumstances change and the Reserve at Dexter Lake has welcomed me with open arms. After several years I've learned to love my neighbors and their unique behaviors. I'm always sad to say goodbye and happy to meet new ones. I don't hear chickens and cows and goats anymore, I hear laughter, fussing, and kids squeeling.I'm reassured that I'm not alone in this big world. I smell food cooking instead of horse barns-sometimes it's hard to tell the difference-but life is an adventure. There's dog doo and cats that chase birds. Flowers, trees, geese and ducks, a lake full of fish and turtles are here for all to enjoy. Our staff are mostly present and pleasant. If you desire solitude and stone quiet, don't move here. This community is alive and active and happy and fun.
