Worst apartment EVER!

I moved out of Trinity Lakes over a year ago, but am still suffering for my mistake of living there. Here's my experience from the beginning.
First of all, the staff is extremely rude and not understanding. Making a trip to the leasing office (for whatever reason) can literally ruin your entire day. The majority of the time, the women have no clue what they are doing (but always pretend they do).
I moved in during the winter, and there was a large gap under the door. This allowed the cold air to come in, which made the apartment freezing. I had to call several times before anyone came to fix the door.
I assume I lived on the "ghetto" side of TL's. Although I'm not a minority or a male. There were many nights that neighbors partying keep us up. Nothing is done about it. While most apartment places give a warning and then take action if the behavior continues, at TL's, you are lucky if the people are warned. There are strange people wandering around at all hours, and it's very difficult to feel safe.
My roommate at TL's was a Memphis Police Officer. After we moved out, they sent a letter saying they had to repair the door. They claimed that the door had been kicked in. I asked my ex-roommate if it had any damage when we left, and he said no. I called them back and explained that if they could show me pictures of the damage, I would pay for the repair. No such pictures were taken. I then stated that if I could be shown the repair, I would pay for it. They then claimed that I could not be shown the repair because someone was in the apartment now. (Which seems odd considering they said it's on the outside of the door.) Finally, I explained to them that without any proof of damange, I would not be paying for a repair and that if they wanted to take me to court over it they could feel free. No legal action has been taken at this time, but I still get the occasional call asking me to pay it. I still refuse.
Overall, I would say...These apartments are the cheapest ones in the area for a reason. If you don't mind cheap living conditions and being treated like you are cheap by the staff, then you'll love Trinity Lakes. If you want a place you'll enjoy coming home to, look elsewhere.
