I was transferred to memphis by my job,and we shopped around for the best price. Well by the looks of things Trinity lakes looks to be a good place to live, when in fact it is the most dangerous place to rent on germantown parkway. The first week we realized that we had problems. The neighbors up stairs were constantly playing their mexican music way to loud. So we called their so called courtesy officer to get them to come out and turn the music down. This worked for about the first 3 weeks. Then he just stopped coming. See the courtesy officer is there to keep peace and so you don't call the police and give the apartments a bad name. Remember this IS in Cordova. Oh I failed to mention they were letting abut 10 mexican-american people live under the same roof. I constantly called and reported it and nothing was done. One night they were out on their porch singing to the top of their lungs at about 1:30 in the morning . I got up called the courtesy officer and of course it took him about an hour to get there. While I waited I took my headset that was hooked into my laptop and recorded them singing. The following week I burned a copy of the singing and took it to the leasing office. The manager listened like she was really concerned, then laughed when she heard it. Which in hind sight it was pretty funny, but not at 1:30 in the morning. She pulled there file and realized the their lease was almost up, and she also mention that a construction company was leasing for the guys. So I left the office feeling like something was going to be done. Weeks went by and same thing, music and courtesy officer. They never did anything. The guys finally finished their job and moved on. The reason they did nothing had to be because it was a corporate rental. And on their website it says corporate rentals receive "VIP" treatment . You know I bet we called the courtesy officer more than ten times a week on those 10 people. And he would show up about twice. And Trinity Lakes did nothing. Well they did send a letter!!You probably ask why we didn't call the police, well the courtesy officer is a police officer and most of the time we he did show up while he was on duty. Plus, if we actually called the police we would have to give a statement and tell them who we were. And as many hours that I work I didn't want the guys knowing I was the one always calling the police on them . The courtesy officer wouldn't reveal who called. I talked to alot of the people around the complex and alot of them have had break-ins. Lucky I had nothing like that. But probably the breaking point for me was when a guy was almost beat to death on my door step. I didn't know the guy but he lived next to me. My wife and I walked out of the apartment one morning to go to work when three guys were standing around . They started asking if we heard anything the night before. I looked down and realized I was standing in a puddle of blood. The guy that was beaten begain telling his side of the story. He was partying across the hall at another person?s apartment. He said the wrong thing to the wrong person and four people drug him out side and beat the mess out of him. There was blood everywhere , on the walls , ground . It was terrible. Then it didn't stop there. He woke up the next morning to find they had robbed him too. They had somehow broke in the house and took everything they could get their hands on. After my wife got off work that day she went to the leasing office to try to get someone out there to clean it up. Hours went by and no one showed. So she went again. They kept saying ,"someone will be right out". Finally someone came after four hours. They only brought a freaking water hose to try to clean this up. After they left my wife looked at it and found they left alot of it on the ground and all of it still on the walls. So she went back up there to tell them they need to get someone out there with a disinfectant to clean it up. The lady yelled at my wife saying,"I?ve already done everything I can do" All we wanted was the walk way disinfected because who knows what this guy has. Being 18wks pregnant my wife left really upset and came home and called me. I then had my brother in law go up there to try to get them to do something about it. He caught the same yelling lady. So then my wife called me crying telling me the lady had done the same to him. By this time I was very hot. I called up there and spoke with the lady and she started the same crap with me. I then let her know that she was being very rude and I didn?t appraciate it. She then begain to cry and saying she was sorry, but by this time I didnt care. My pregnant wife was walking through blood all day and I wanted the crap cleaned up. I told her to get in touch with her manager and to call me back . About five minutes later she called me back saying a power washer was on the way. This was at 3 o?clock. At 6 I called my wife to make sure it was done and of course it wasn't. I called the maintence emergency line and told them that this was a health emergency and they needed to get out there and clean it up. Shortly after the call my wife called me back to let me know they were cleaning it up. But not with a power washer, by hand.

I could go on for days, but I am tired of talking about it. TO SUM IT UP, IF YOU HAVE KIDS, LIKE SLEEP, LIKE BEING SAFE, AND LIKE LIVING IN PEACE;TRINITY LAKES IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. IT HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE , ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY. SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY AND GO UP THE RODE. I LEARNED A HARD LESSON BY GOING TO THE LOWEST BIDDER. OH , AND AFTER YOUR LEASE IS UP THE RENT GOES UP 100 DOLLARS. THEY FORGET TO TELL YOU THAT.
