I am actually surprised at how many horror reviews there are about TL. I live on the "white side" right across from where the security officer lives. My building has pretty good tenants in it. However, I did have a bunch noisy kids living below me that threw beer bottles and crap out their back patio and I could smell pot coming up through the floor frequently. Hey, we were all young once so it didnt bother me that much since it was infrequent.

The workout area is poorly kept, but usable. The grounds are fairly nice most of the time except for the horrible overflowing dumpster on the "brown side" People are too damn lazy to use the huge compactor at the front of the complex.

Maintenace is a joke. My drains are still slow draining. My kitchen sink clogged up and it took them 5 days to fix it. 5 days with standing water in my sink!!!

I'm also VERY concerned about the mail security lately. I am expecting checks from the IRS that still havent arrived. I had another order from a supplement website that mysteriously never arrived and had to be reshipped. And now, I have a fedex package that was signed for by someone and I'm the only person living at my apartment! I have Fedex researching the matter now.

Up until these recent mail issues and reading the reviews here, I was considering getting a 2br with my gf (in a 1br now) and living at TL for a year just to save up some money. However, I think I'm going to be finding a better place, even if I have to spend a bit more.
