I currently live in Trinity Lakes. I have been here for 9mos, and I can't wait until my lease is up. First of all I will say I am a minority, but I have not experienced the so called racism that I have seen mentioned. I do live on the "brown side" but that is because that's what they offer for the special. This is actually the newest side of the complex. The rooms are bigger and they don't have mold. I will also have to disagree with the comments about safety. I have not felt unsafe since I have lived here, Cordova is definantly not the ghetto. That is about the only good things that I do have to say. The staff is okay, but the apartment manager is HORRIBLE. She acts as if she is some queen. She refuses to talk to you, and she will not handle any complaints. I had an animal in my walls for one week scratching. No matter how many times I complained she said she would fix the problem, but never did. She even told me to climb up in the attic myself and lay rat poison. Thankfully the assistant manager was there and volunteered to check the problem out himself. After many sleepless nights the animal finally disappeared. It is also true that the grounds are horrible and trashy. The worst part of all is the noise. It is so dang noisy day or night. Even the air conditioner The management doesn't care no matter how many courtsey calls or complaints you make, they go unheard. I was told that TN law allows reasonable noise between the hours of 8am and 10pm, so I was told to buy some earplugs. Overall I have not had the best experience. The price is great for the area, but I would rather have peace of mind for more money. I will not be renewing my lease.
