ANOTHER BREAK IN- WITH A KEY.

I was out of town this weekend and when I came home my door was unlocked and my computer, camera, and some checkbooks were gone. I am breaking my lease and moving out. The police said that the robber must have had a key. I am also very concerned as to why the management did not come and lock my door when they were notified by my neighbors that my door had been wide open and unlocked for three days. I know it is not their obligation to do so but I do not feel comfortable living in an apartment under management who do not care about the well being of their residence. They said that they called me. Yet, my phone shows no record of them calling me until Monday morning when they were returning my desperate "I've been robbed!" message. Also, there was no voice mail either.
I feel very uncomfortable living here. Truth is I always have. The grounds are disgusting. There has been a pile of kitty litter in the flower bed for almost a year now. No one has raked it over or cleaned it up. Beer cans on the ground. Last summer there was a burnt hole in the grass where some shady neighbors grilled out over the grass. A week later there were campfire remains in the middle of the yard from the same neighborers and no one cleaned it up. Yes, they built a fire in the middle of the lawn. Management did not care to clean it up or even say anything about it. It is a dump. The apartments have that old thick musty smell that you can't get rid of. I am constantly having to call maintenance for one broken thing or another. There are so many roaches I feel as though they should be splitting the rent with me.
I am honestly a fairly easy person to please, but I regret having to live here and am ready to get away from these people.

I wonder what person has keys to this unit. It is interesting that this person takes no respnsiblity for leting her keys out to frinds and people who are thieves.

I find it more interesting that her locks where probally never changed when she moved in,the supervisor for this place is a joke, the rest of maintenance is somewhat ok,wait till summertime when the ducks crap all on the balcony, what a great smell that will be.
