My husband, Myself and our two teenage kids all have cell phones. So we didnt see the point in having a home phone when we moved in. This is a gated community and your guests have to pull up to a box and the box calls you on the number you provided to the apartment manager, which was my cell phone. This summer has been hell with my two kids having friends over and leaving there gate cards at home. I'm at work and my cell phone rings all day. I have asked the apartment manger on numerious occusions for the code that they give to UPS,FEDEX,PIZZA DELIVERY PEOPLE and ect.
She has refused to give us the code, or even let us pay for more gate access cards.
Think GOD my lease ends next month, because we have to find another home.

Gate codes are only given to vendors that need access after hours. Giving gate codes out to resident or friends of residents can result in unwanted visitors having access to the property and I am sure no one in this community desires that. I hate to here that you are so unhappy with our community that you cant wait to leave. Had a known that this upset you and your family so much, I could have given you the following option: If you children have their own cell phones, we would be happy to enter them separately in the gate so that when they have company, their phones will be called. I have to disagree with you by saying; I do care about this community and all the residents in it. For this reason, I have guidelines that I must follow to ensure that everyone is happy. |

I feel that the management department did the right thing. I moved here to avoid constant traffic by non-residents. I feel that it is not the parents but the children of those parents that bring crime and drugs into beautiful communities such as this.
