Im not talking about bad late. My payment was only 1 day late but this oversite cost me dearly. I had to go to general sessions court and pay 2800 dollars for fines and charges. Did I mention my rent was only 1 day late. After the 5th of the month if you payment is not recieved they MAIL you a letter telling you that you have 24 hrs to bring in payment with a huge fee attached, Undestandable but since their payment reminder is mailed it gets in you r mailbox late. This ruling in court is now on my credit report and everytime I move this pops up causung further difficulty in obtaining a nice aptartment. Sunshine corporation is Evil. Just to pay your rent you havre to drive over to Poplar ave to pay at their coporate office. In court I reailized I wasnt the only this was happening to. On the day of my trail for 1 day late rent Thier were 24 people there for the same thing. I have never had a problem with an apartment before. On move out I was scutinized by the lady who inspected every small area with a microscope which she wouldnt even begin because she said the 2 boxes on my patio kept her from inspecting my apt and I had to carry them down to the grass IN THE RAIN before she could continue.
