We have lived at Woodchase for quite a while now and are very happy here. There are a few bothersome things like spiders and Millipedes but that is just MY FAULT for not calling them out to spray enough. Woodchase is in a wooded area so you can expect some bugs every now and then.

The rent is reasonable for the area and they keep the grounds very neat. You must pay your rent before the 7th of the month. As long as it is there by the 7th you are safe...I would sue someone too if they didnt pay their rent on time.

The apartment is LIVED IN. Everyone has their own experience with renting and some people dont take that into consideration when renting an apartment. Things arent always perfect. The maintenance is great they fix things promptly and efficiently.

Another thing that i do not like is that the $250 pet fee that you pay at move in does not cover any damages incurred to the apartment by the pet when you move out. Some people misunderstand this. Please be careful if you have pets that like to damage things because they will check for pet damage in the apartment and they even pull up the carpets and look for pet stains. I have had experiences with other Sunshine properties that do this.

The pools and facilities are kept very nice and the staff is really nice and helpful. I dont think that the walls are as thin as people say they are, I think that neighbors are just being too loud. My neighbor likes to slam doors, everyone has had annoying neighbors.

The biggest complaint I have is the security guards or the "after hours representatives". One guy likes to sit in a different spot every night and that is where he stays. His job is to be patroling the area and he is in his car down by the pool or in some secluded area watching a small portable TV. I drove by the pool at about 9 or 10 at night and he was there. I came back from where i was going at about 11:30 or so and he was in the same spot. I then went somewhere else and came back at 2:30am and there he was still sitting there. I do have to give him credit he isnt in the same spot EVERY night, he kind of alternates but i still think that if they are paying him to do a job he needs to be doing it especially when it concerns people's safety. I have not had any problems as far as safety though and i still feel secure even though the guards are not doing their job.

Overall I think that Woodchase is a very nice and decent place to live and besides the few issues that i have i would most definitly recommend this place to others.
