I used to like living here; however, I no longer do. I have reported issues of smoke coming form someone else s apartment into mine for 3 months now and the issue is STILL not resolved. I have complained of noisy neighbors for 2 months now and that issue has not been address either. It is summed up to it s an apartment life, deal with it . Okay WHATEVER . Not to mention I agree with the previous comment on here. My is currently $415 a month also (one bedroom) and received a rent increase renewal when my lease is up. The prices they are wanting are ridiculous for that little bitty apartment with the issues I am having with no solution to the problem! I have lived at New Castle sine 2004 and they have only had 2 people in the office that seem to know how to run an apartment and why they got ride of those 2 I will never know, but it was a mistake. (I miss you guys Lisa and Miss Jane! Wish you were here and I wouldn t be leaving.) The current office staff seems like she could care less and whatever you tell her goes in one ear and right out the other (old southern saying)! Oh and the pool, okay I don t know about you all; however, I had rather be swimming in something that is cleaner then the Tennessee River! I do agree the appliances are extremely old and not working as properly as they should and the air units as well. The ventilation system at New Castle is also poor. The noise level from wall to wall is quite for the most part; however, from floor to ceiling, YEAH RIGHT! They need some serious insulation in that area! I am very happy to be moving from New Castle! Normally I would have recommended the apartments to a friend, but these past few months and the current office staffing, I wouldn t want to do that to them. If the issues were to get resolved as requested and the rent remain the same as it was, I would. But for now, I wouldn t!
