The leasing coordinator (the guy) is very nice and helpful, try to deal only with him! Lanesborough is okay. I do not agree that it is very quiet; I could always hear neighbors talking if they were outside. Teenagers (and sometimes adults) often would walk inside the gate at night and use the pool, make noise, leave trash, etc. There was a security officer, but he was very predictable in his schedule.
The deluxe isn't worth the extra money, so if you move here get one of the regular models. The whirlpool tub grows some knid of mold if used infrequently and the fire place darkens the wall (when it works).
Visit around lunch or close to dinner if possible so you can see if your neighbors cook bad smelling food because the smell will come into your apartment! I don't think they are sealed very well - the fumes from my neighbors' cooking always invaded my apartment. Be sure to buy plenty of Plug Ins and air freshener. Also check the doors of the unit you will have prior to moving in - mine was not sealed well and was very drafty! I will say, surprisingly, there were no bug issues from the poorly sealed door.
Do not bother putting up Christmas decorations. Last year they had the buildings pressure washed with bleach four days before Christmas and you had to take down the decorations or allow them to be ruined!
Several days before my lease expired the office turned off my gate code. I thought this was especially rude and inconsiderate, not to mention inconvenient for me and my family. If you must deal with the woman get everything in writing! She can be hateful and very inconsistent.
