Hard Working Staff, Ghetto in Franklin

The staff is great when it comes to problems. For instance, the fan didnt in the guest restroom. I asked them to come take a look, and damned if the fan wasn't in the housing in the restroom. They had stated the last tenant wanted it out because it made "too much noise". Can you tell I was being sarcastic with the "staff is great"' They had the balls to ask me if I wanted for them to put a fan in there. That was a taste of what you'll get of living at Carrington Hills. When my wife and I first moved in, there was mold in the kitchen (in which they stated there wasnt, thus the dehumidifier and the big canopy covering the whole kitchen and dining room), and the floor was very weak by the fridge. They were nice enough to not risk our health and put us in a corporate apartment for a week while they replaces the flooring, but that was our first week. There have also been charges they have tried to tack on for numerous things. Also, expect to pay at least $35 for 2 people with a washer. Another thing, if you dont like kids running rampant and throuwing thigs at your cars, stay away. this has been a frequent occurance since spring started. I dont know if some of it was deliberate, but many parents dont watch their kids around here and the kids like to play with toys in the parking lot, such as baseballs, basketballs, footballs, etc. I like my car and if you like yours, stay away. Bottom line, is we are moving, thus the write up of some of our experiences, but I would not recommend this place for what we paid for it, and it was lower than most of the other tenants. You would think that such high rents would keep the less desireable people out of a place like this in Franklin, but it doesnt. Oh yea, they want to raise our rent by $40 for the new year for a 12, 14, or 15 month lease.

This reviewer obviouly has issues as you can tell from this poor review. The fact is Carrington Hills is a fine establishment and was a great experience living there for me and my wife.

I am the poster of the original posting. I can tell you that it may have changed in the past few months, but likely not. I never had an issue with me paying the rent or utilities. I was a very good tenant. It was the monopolistic approach from the staff and maintenance crew not being realistic when it came to problems of the whole community. Franklin is also very expensive, and the people that live in Franklin are very snobby and rude. It is even more expensive than Belle Meade, which is where I reside now. If you are looking for somewhere safe, and is not the ghetto in a nice area, look in Belle Meade.
