If you like $90 water bills, cold showers, zero parking at night, and mystery charges on a monthly basis then you'll love Carrington Hills.

The grounds are pretty and maintenence is quite good. That said, here are some things they won't point out during the tour:

1)Carrington Hills acts as a mediator between you and the water company and jacks the price on your water bill up to nearly $100/a month.

2) There are no outside trash dumpsters. You can only put trash at the curb between 5-8am mon-fri. Otherwise, you are charged a fee, per bag.

3) Find a parking place by 8pm or you'll be walking the scenic route to your apartment.

4) In 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, there is only overhead lighting in the master bedroom. Hope you have a bunch of lamps.

5) Carrington Hills replaces the carpet and repaints the walls every time a tenant moves out (No Matter How Well You Clean). You will not get any of your deposit back.

6) Insulation is great in the bedrooms but very poor in the living area. Leave the bedroom doors open so the heat is evenly distributed.

7) There have been several break-ins lately. Carrington Hills is a "gated community," meaning that they HAVE a gate. It is only closed for a few days after a new tenant moves in, then it is always open. Splurge and pay extra for the alarm to be turned on.

first of all, there is an outside trash compactor. We never had a problem with parking, and our water bills were never over 30 a month. You are completely right about the gate. Sorry your experience wasn't great, ours was pretty good.

I have never heard so many lies in my life. Whoever wrote this review is either an idiot or a compulsive liar. First of all, I have never had a waterbill anywhere close to $90. This person must leave their water running consatntly day and night. Lie #2 There is in fact a trash dumpster at the bottom of the hill, and they have a free trash service that picks up your trash in the mornings Mon-Fri after simply leaving it on the grass outside your apt. This is very convenient and quite a privilege and if it's too much trouble for you to drop at the bottom of the stairs then you're a retard and need serious help.

Its all lies!i know what your talking about my water bills were over 80-90 dollars a month too. Dirty grounds and no trash compactor!!!

THESE ARE SOOO NOT LIES!! I bet its the apartment management saying these things to get people not to worry. Our water bill used to be 20-30 dollars a month. Now, they are on a community water bill. They add up the water from everyone then split it up between you. Its rediculous. Now I pay over 60.00 a month. We barely use that much water. The parking is pretty bad at night, during the day its fine, but then again I live on an end building so I cant imagine how bad it is for people in between buildings. We have had tons and tons of problems living here. I dont want to say exactly what because I still live here. But let me say this, I LIVE IN FEAR FOR MY CHILDRENS LIFE!!!! DO NOT MOVE INTO CARRINGTON HILLS EVER!!!!
