It's not as affordable and they make it appear.

We moved in here because of the great floor plans and what we thought was affordable rent. We avoided the more expensive apartment complexes in Franklin/Cool Springs to save money, but probably would have ended up spending the same amount in a nicer Alara complex.
The insulation is AWFUL! We moved out when we bought our house, which is about 700 sq. ft. BIGGER than our apartment was at Carrington Hills and we now pay about half in utilities. The water bills are ridiculous there. $50 a month for 2 people is insane for an apartment. And we were so used to our ridiculously high electric bills, we were shocked to find our first electric bill in our HOME to be half the price.
Sure, it's not a horrible place to live, but you won't save money like you think you will. Just live in one of the nicer complexes. You'll pay more for rent, but you won't get ripped off on your utility bill.
The staff is nice enough, but when it comes down to it can't really do much to help you because they're owned by a bigger management company. The pool is nice, but SOOO many kids on the weekends, it's hard to enjoy. Maintenance is fine. They usually fix things in a timely manner, so that's not a problem. We also never had a problem with parking. The equipment in the gym is broken a lot and they rarely keep anything there to sanitize it. (Gross!) If you move there, just know it's not "Luxury living" like they advertise it to be.

I totally agree. Carrington Hills is a good location and the staff is very friendly. My major issue is the water bill. As a single person living in a one bedroom apartment, my water bill should not be almost $40.00 a month. It is crazy. We are paying for Carrington Hills to water the driveway. There is more water in the parking lot than the grass. We were told to call the City of Franklin about the water bill. I know 2 people that live in Franklin in other apartment complexs and their water bills didn't go up not 1 penny. If you have money to just throw away, then move here. I can't wait until my lease is up.

I totally agree as well. They love to "rape" their residents for money. The water bill thing is ridiculous, it makes me so angry. I think I will contact the City of Franklin eventually. This place is definitely NOT all that. Don't move here, save your hard earned money!!!

I agree with you all, the water bill is freakin ridiculous! Seriously, renters rent elsewhere...they should bulldoze this place and build something better and hire a more competent staff!!
