This community is a joke. I wish I had found these reviews before signing a 14 month lease here. I live in a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit. Here are some of the negatives. Poor insulation and construction. The air conditioning runs not stop during the summer and the heat runs constantly during the winter with the analog thermostat set at approximately 70 degrees. The same size central heat/air unit is used for all the apartments from what I can tell. I'm no HVAC technician, but I'm pretty sure the unit is undersized for the living areas in the 3 bedroom apartments. The windows let in a lot of cold during the winter. The master bath stays cold during the winter. We were told this is common with the 3 bedrooms. We are averaging $180 electric bills. Then there is the "community" water/sewer/trash bill. It has run us about $90 a month. The security gate is no security. When it is actually working people just tailgate through without using there card. The funny thing is that every time the gate gets fixed and is working again some moron hits it and it remains broken for another month or two. Just a word to the wise, in the winter the hills get fairly slick and maintenance is slow to salt them. I got the joy of watching countless fellow residents "try" the hill coming into the community to end up stuck. That night even with my 4x4 Jeep, I almost didn't make it up the hill. Not due to lack of traction, but from cars stacked up left and right on the hill. Now the good side. The pool is fairly nice and the I've never had trouble with the exercise equipment. The maintenance and office staff have been plenty nice to us whenever we need something fixed.
