I read some of the bad reviews and all I have to say is these people do not have the experience of living in other apartments. Most said this was their first. Well...apartment life is very different from living in a house! If they think this is bad try looking for another apartment in this neighborhood for this price! The office staff are wonderful and will negotiate on rent. My rent was negotiated down by $50 a month. That is the renters perrogative. Also they take care of noise vioaltions immediately. Maintenance is great as well. There are a lot og bugs...but...uh...this is the south! Rain = bugs. The bug man comes twice a week and is very nice and helpful. Your renting experience is what you make of it and Franklin Oaks works with you to make it great. They also knock money off your rent if you go to them with a complaint. If you are thinking of moving here spend some time in the office, take a tour of the facilties, and ask to speak to some of the tenants. You will see that it is a bargain for what you get, especially in this area of Tennessee.
