You Get What You Pay For...Almost

Okay, where to begin'
I've lived here for almost two years now. I've lived on the 300 side (the showy side) and the 301 side (the family/ratty side). Service is the same on both sides. Neighbors on the 301 side are horrible. Neighbors on the 300 side can be real prudes.
Constant problem with fungus gnats/spiders/clogged drains/plumbing/and the occassional mouse; Maintenance has only fixed two of these when all 5 were requested (over 2 yr. period).
Construction was a MAJOR inconvenience and there was no sympathy/compensation for the lack of parking, the noise, the unprofessional working crews, the detritus and rubble, and blocking of entrances for weeks on end. There's only 2 for each side and both open onto major roads! Big hassle. Also, walls are paper-thin so you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do.
They said that utilities were free when I signed my first lease and then I was charged for both. Price went up $100 in one year (before construction). Slow to fix problems but lightning quick to charge you $$ for the slightest discrepency.
Management can be really prickish. I paid on time for a year and a half and then I accidentally messed up my checking acct. ONE time to where a rent check bounced. I didn't check my messages for a couple days b/c I was away and when I did they had said they were going ahead with my EVICTION! They sure as Hell don't waste any time! Also, they can be snobs.
I've read the other reviews and the one I like the most is from the Mgt. saying that the negative reviews are from "competitors". Well, I'm a resident on the "nice" side (300) and I cannot wait to move out. I'm 3 months away and I want to break my lease! The other negative reviews (for the most part) are accurate. Prices are not worth the poor service/dingy living conditions. Fork out the extra dough and go somewhere worth it. Trust me.
