I am in my second apt here. The first one was infested with roaches. They were everywhere! Crawling on the ceiling and dropping down on the floor...on the walls...on the back of the fridge...and the office staff made me feel like I was crazy. I fogged the apartment and they sprayed...to no avail. They were going to charge me for breaking the lease and keep my deposit. Finally, they moved me to a new apartment (after I had to take everything out and double-check every square inch of it for roaches). Now, I have a spider problem. I kill atleast 2 large spiders inside my apartment a day. The door, fireplace and windows are not sealed properly, so they crawl right in. My power bill is excessive for this reason, too-$140 on average. There are cobwebs in every corner of the apartment...in every slat of siding outside...the apartment looks like it was never cleaned before I moved in. The plumbing sucks. The carpet is coming up (the spiders hide in these places). The patio screen is coming apart. There is no door to the fireplace. The bathroom fan doesn't work. There's no light fixture in my bedroom. The ceiling fan in the lr blows the air and dust up to the ceiling, so I have a nice ring up there. The bathroom moulding is all molded and coming apart. The cabinets are ancient and have a lovely crusty wallpaper inside. Bottom line: They have not renovated these apts probably ever!

That's just my apartment. The community is a broken-down mess! The lights in the pool don't work, except one, and last night I noticed that one light was just laying on the side of the pool- and still on. Only 1 of the 4 tennis court lights work. Both the mens and womens saunas haven't worked since I moved in. One of the 2 treadmills was broken for 4 months (that I know of). The pool on the other side is broken...

I'm sure I have left some things out...but you get the picture.
