Ok, I gotta say that I don't really find Franklin Oaks to be that bad. The only real complaint I have is the parking. IT SUCKS. They never monitor who is supposed to park here and who isn't. But whatever, if that's the only negative thing about it, I'll take it.
As for maintenance, the grounds guys are awesome. Very friendly. We've never had a problem with anyone not coming to fix our issues we have had. However, there could have been some big problems if we wouldn't have noticed them. A pipe busted in the master bathroom and if we wouldn't have been there, we would have had a huge issue on our hands. Our air feels like it goes in and out, but nothing too bad to complain about.
The only bad thing about it is it's so far away from Nashville. Now, I'm from the country, so I'm used to driving 25 minutes to everything. But seriously, once you live here, and if Nashville is where you work and spend the majority of your time, just move closer to it. Franklin is a great area, but it's more for families. THere are hardly any young people around, and if there are everyone is quiet because they don't want to wake the families! I'm not saying we are partiers, but we definitely like to go out, and the drive is AWFUL. If you're moving here to be in the music industry, Franklin is not the place for you. But if you really wanna live here, live at Franklin Oaks. It's WAY cheap, I feel pretty safe here.
