It's sad to read all these horrible reviews of this place. I moved in Feb. 09 and have nothing but praise for the community. The office staff is all new, as is the property management company.(maybe that was the difference that was needed) I have lived in Alar Cool Springs as well as Southwinds, and by far this place has been the nicest( especially the rent.) The maintenance staff is great and very quick in response. The community is pet friendly, and for the 1st time in years I actually know my neighbors. Upon signing our lease, we requested a thorough cleaning of our new apt. since my roommate has very bad allergies. We received all new appliences, new carpet, a painted accent wall, newly painted walls and cabinets, and all new sealing in our bathrooms for no extra fees. Again, I believe the new staff and management has made all the difference. Even when a large group of minorities let their kids leave their toys in the commons area, the staff sent them notices stating that anything left out over night would be placed in the dumpster. Any issues (which have been very few) have been delt with courtisy and speed.
