I've only lived here for about 2 and a half months or so but the experience has been great. The apartments look older and not as nice as some others in the area, but really the interior isn't that old and outdated or dirty. Also, the living space and cost outweighs the boring non-fancy look of the place. Like a lot of older things, the apartment seems to be built better. My old apartment was much newer and looked "fancy" but had very thin walls and poor counstruction. Only noise problems I have are the people above me and that's just from footsteps across the floor and it's not very noticable. I'm a very very picky guy though. I can't stand to live anywhere that even slightly feels dirty. This place is a huge step above the last place I lived. The only real complaint I have is the crappy contractors that have been going around and painting and updating things in the area. They have done a pretty bad job on some of the painting. They painted doors recently and the mine had two small scratch looking spots in the paint on the day they painted. This might not have been their fault though. I would recommend the place to anyone.
