Expensive, but nice

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
My husband and I lived at Wyndchase from October 2002-April 2003. We moved out early in order to purchase a home, and we had no problems with the management allowing us to break the lease.
During the time we rented there, the management was courteous, always responsive to our requests, and always lived up to their responsibilities under the lease. We did pay a hefty fee to break our lease, but we'd agreed to that when we signed our lease. I have no problem with it, but I do think it is important for people to know what they're getting into ahead of time.
Pet rent is outrageously high, IMO; however, the apartments are nice, the landscaping is meticulous and beautifully done, and the apartments are well-maintained. I never had any problems with neighbors, parking or noise, though I do think parking gets tight in some areas of the complex. I was over on the golf-course side.
I would not rent a unit on the side of the complex where the train tracks are located. We were told that the trains are not allowed to sound their whistles when the pass, and I assure you that is absolute bullchit. I could hear them very well all the way on the other side of the complex, and I can still hear them at my new house. I don't think you can live in Franklin and not hear trains at times, though.
I would recommend this complex to anyone.
