Good place, awful management

When I decided to move to the area I checked out all the reviews online. I had already written this place off because of tremendously horrific reviews of the office staff. However, when I saw the avaible apartment I loved it, it was perfect, and my friends and family told me not to worry about the management, I wouldn't have to deal with them unless I did something wrong, which they knew wouldn't be the case. Not so. The office staff seemed to have the combined intelligence of a wood pile. Every little matter was a battle to get accomplished. It became an incredibly frustrating experience. However, nothing compared to when they lost a check that I had turned in for the monthly rent and attempted to bring me to court. They refused to acknowledge the mistake and dumped me off to their incredibly rude lawyer who had no interest in sorting the matter out. Eventually it was sorted out, no thanks to anyone on staff, but was an incredibly difficult and stressful situation, that sealed my decision to change apartments. Just know that even if you are not someone who anticipates a smooth lease, it is not completely up to you. The management LOST A CHECK. I had to close that account to make sure no one found the check and tried to cash it or use my information. I would never reccomend this apartment to anyone, it is not worth the stress of dealing with dummies.
