After we moved out we were charged an outrageous amount of money (over $500) to have the carpet replaced. Well when we moved the furniture out of the apartment the carpet was disgusting! we had never even moved the furniture when we lived there!! I think it is RIDICULOUS that we are being charged OVER $500 to have this taken care of when the carpet was disgusting the whole time!!! (and I am a neat and clean person and there is NO way I would have been okay with my carpet being so disgusting that it needed to be replaced!!!) I was very unsatisfied with these apartments! They smelt like an old nasty hotel and had stains all over the carpet, cheap blinds and nasty old appliances. We were only at this apartment until our lease was up... actually we moved out a month before our lease was up because we couldnt stand it!! OH.. and my husbands car got broken into while we lived there!!

I lived at littestone for 12 months. Enjoyed living there with my son. Best features, your close to everything in Gallatin and in a safe part of town. I never would have moved my son into a complex which was unsafe. The staff was great although during my lease they changed the notice to evict date from the 15th of the month to the 5th. So if you hadn't paid your rent by the 5th you would get a not so friendly eviction notice. And No, I was not evicted, just pointing out a change in the lease agreement while I was a tenant. In response to the review written above, here's a suggestion, do a walk through of your apartment and notate dirty carpets, stained counters, etc...I can't imagine stains appear magically. When I moved out, I was awarded back my full deposit.

I've lived at Littlestone for 6 months. The first night I was there, someone vandalized my moving truck. Come on! What would possess someone to do that? Once moved in, I let the staff know I had a few wasp nests on my balcony and lots of large yellow jackets (huge yellow and black bees) flying around so I couldn't sit out on my balcony. I was told they couldn't find any nests and the ones on my balcony were abandoned and therefore nothing could be done. They didn't even have the decency to knock down the nest which were NOT abandoned. I had to take a picture to prove such fact. And the bees? Well they aparently build their hives in the eaves over the 3rd floor apartments but the staff will tell you they are swarming and they'll go away. For the most part they do, but don't expect to use your balcony for parts of March, April and May. After the first 2 months of living there, I had a roof leak that took almost 2 more months to fix. I reported it in April, someone came out in the middle of May to look at it and it wasn't until the end of June when it was fixed. Right about the same time I reported the roof leak, I was given a nasty note about having to pay a second pet deposit of $200, when I already paid a pet deposit of $300 and I had to sign a 2nd pet addendum for my 2nd pet which I could only sign if I was paying the pet deposit. Note: there is nothing on their website that states what the pet fees are, only what types of restrictions apply and the weight limit as well as quantity of pets and the pet addendums. I refused to pay it and kept my second pet. Well, it turns out I was unaware the apartment staff were qualified in veterinary medicine because they sent me a letter stating my pet was or would be over the weight restriction when he was full grown. When I brought it to their attention they withheld the pet addendum which would state all this information because I refused to pay an additional fee as it was not listed in my lease they referred me to their property manager in Nashville and she further demanded I pay the additional fee. It wasn't until I produced a piece of paper signed by both the leasing agent and myself that clearly stated ONE TIME PET FEE $300.00 they finally backed off. Note to self: If it's not listed in your lease, legally you are not obligated to pay it. To further add insult to injury while this was going on, I had bugs in my apartment I would call on practically every week. I haven't seen one in a few weeks (finally). I had an A/C leak in the closet which is carpeted and ruined some of my things they didn't fix for 2 months. It took weeks of complaining for them to finally tell me it was a leaky gasket. Um why didn't they fix it in the first place? I had mold and mildew in the carpet in that closet and it was yet again a few more weeks before they finally tore out the carpet and tiled the closet. Oh and when I asked for a drain with a screen because I have long hair and obviously I need to wash it and I don't want to clog up the drain they gave me another drain plug so when the water from the faucet or the shower it, it spun around and dropped back into the drain and my hair got wrapped around the plug. 2 days later I finally got a drain with a screen. Don't you think it would've been easier to do it as I requested initially? Finally, I agree on the spots on the carpet however, when I moved in BEFORE I brought my pets, I found urine spots on the carpet around the kitchen. I'm a pretty clean person and I did clean the carpets myself but really those carpets were terribly disgusting when I moved in. Now they're clean and I can tell you I have one of the cleanest apartments in that complex, hands down and I'll challenge anyone otherwise. As for the vandalism? Well, you might want to consult with some of your neighbors on that as my poor neighbors had one of the other neighbors write a vulgar name on the hood of their car in mustard packets and the tenants in the building across from me yell and whistle at people when they are out walking their dogs and really just harassing them. Furthermore these same neighbors had the gall to cuss me out becasue I wouldn't let them help me work on my car. Oh my gosh watch out people!!! I'm girl and I'm working on my car....all hell's gonna break loose!! Really, the appearance of the apartments are nice as is the display of the units but it's a chance of renter's remorse.
