Bad choice for apartment living

I moved into Brook Chase one month ago. This was one of the choices provided for me through my company. I pay nothing, except frustration and agony and aggravation. In the one month I've lived here, I've had to call the office to request maintenance assistance three times. After the first phone call, I dealt with several complaints/needs on my own, as the office personnel informed me that the maintenance department was very busy and I might have to wait awhile. Oh, and the first request was simply to have a new air filter for my A/C unit.

Since being here, I've dealt with more spiders than I normally encounter on a camping trip, an air filter that rivaled a cmmmercial dryer for lint, a dishwasher that was leaking into the hallway providing an 18" puddle that would not go away (and the office told me to not use the dishwasher until someone could come and see what was wrong.....they showed up 10 days later), and now, a downpour from the ceiling A/C panel. Oh, and on the last complaint, maintenance told me to wait until morning, not caring that I didn't have enough buckets to collect all of the water. Also, I had complained about the A/C in the first 72 hours of moving in. I was told that maintenance was "busy" and I would have to wait until someone could get time to deal with it. On the air filter' I went over to the office, asked for a new filter, ran 4 errands and then a filter was available for me. It took 3 1/2 hours to get the filter. That is after I'd waited 5 days for one.

Management is poor, and very rude. Thank goodness for me this is a corporate account, so my company has been very useful in getting assistance. After I complained to my company about the dishwasher it took 48 hours to get a new one. On my own I had waited over a week without assistance.

I wouldn't move in to this property unless you have plenty of time to wait to have things fixed, and plenty of patience with management that is rude and non-service oriented.

Yes, I went over a week without a working dishwasher. And about the spiders, my apartment was infested with them and I ended up in the hospital from a poisonous bite. Called them from the ER and the management response was "you may have gotton the bite from somewhere else. Appalling response as if they did not care. And I found huge, huge roaches.
