I've lived here for over a year and want to respond to some of the previous posts...
Noise - not an issue at all where I am. Every once in awhile I hear the neighbor's front door close and if I'm in the bathroom I *might* hear some cabinets being closed, but that is rare and hardly nuisance. Otherwise, I never hear a peep from the units around me. I do agree that the HVAC and washer are a bit loud.
Maintenance - Every request I've had has been handled the same day. I haven't had many (new disposal, issues with the water heater, toilet problem), but they are always on the ball. They are friendly and professional and I feel as though they look out for the residents. For example, I was called away suddenly and a package was delivered to my door in my absence. Not only did they take it in, but when they saw me they flagged me down to let me know they had it. That is just nice, responsible, and shows they know who their residents are.
The appliances are basic, but work. The small water heater - just turn it up a little and you will have a LOT of very hot water for multiple showers.
Utilities are pretty low, and that's coming from someone who tends to leave their windows open even with the heat or AC running. Grounds are well-kept.
The bathrooms are pretty basic, though a good size.
Overall, a nice place to live unless you MUST have granite countertops and spa tubs.

I find it hard to believe that this is a good place to live. I am currently living there and let me tell you...this is THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER SEEN. Let me start with the bugs and an in depth on each one(mind you that my wife and I have the apartment spotless at all times: Roaches- this is a never ending problem, they suggested that we have our drains closed at all times which is ridiculous to have to do, but we did anyway and we STILL have problems. Termites- woke up one day to literally hundreds of termites in the apartment, their response and i quote "We are in the South, your bound to have them". Now we have maggots all along the baseboards!!!! To make matters even worse , they will leave you hanging, its impossible to talk to the manager as they are never "available" . The list goes on and on. I would not wish these conditions on my worst enemy. I pay $1150 a month which is not cheap and you would think that the service and living conditions would be ALOT better than this.

I did have termites sometime shortly after I wrote the review, but I never had an issue with any other bugs. Perhaps it depends on the building you are in (I am on the Wolf River side, 2nd floor, far away from the dumpster). I will say termites are an issue in the south, however if your account of how they responded is accurate, it was not appropriate - they should have at least shown concern for your issue. I'm sorry your experience there has been so bad, however it does not reflect my own.

I have lived at the property since 2004 and I have loved my stay here very much. Although I have had a few minor pest control issues, I have lived at other properties in the area and The Vineyards is easily the cleanest. I understand there will be bugs wherever you choose to live so that is something that residents must be patient with(considering most pest control companies are only open Monday - Friday). Along with the pest control, which the office has done a fantastic job of spraying my apartment whenever asked or needed, any maintenance issue or concerns I have had has been handled in a very timely manner. The office staff is very friendly and concerned about my comfort in the apartment. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at the Vineyards and keeping you apartment clean to keep the critters out ;)
