I don't know why all these people are complaining about Lenox Gate Apts. It is a great place to live. Sure there are going to be problems but thats part of life. Your home is almost like your job--there is never a perfect one out there. I think the problem with the people here is that when new management took over they didn't want riff raff hanging around like at other apt complexes. So they started getting rid of them. As for people complaining about cars being towed, quit parking in the grass and for the ones that hate it here, are you behind on rent have you done something to provoke management. As for the maintenance team, they get to your work order the same day it is turned in. And they get up in the middle of the night to take care of your problems. The voice mail that you get when you call in is for your protection as well as the maintenace people. Management can listen to them. I know that there have been alot of people that have left here and yes some were drug dealers. But I don't worry about anything living here. I have a beautiful view and a great apartment. What more can I ask for.

We've paid our rent early every month! That's not an issue...we know how to pay bills. This place is a joke, as well as the management. Most people can't help but to park in the grass, because there's NEVER anywhere to park. Stop acting like this place is a god send! They still let drug dealers move in. They had some move in just a week ago and they've done nothing but cause havok on this entire building. Yelling at other apartment renters and threating them. On top of that we caught them trying to sell pot to our 10 year old son. But I guess you want to defend that too! This is an aweful place and we can't wait till our lease is up to get far away from this hell hole! People need to stop trying to play up to management. I believe it's management who posting the only good reviews anyway!

I agree with you. My story of Lenox gate is as follows. We were 11 months into our lease. We had never had any problems other than parking and noise from kids. We turned rent in to management and went about our day. 3 weeks later.... I get a knock on the door. I answer it and it is a Sheriff's Deputy. He tells me that I have been served. I have no idea what is going on. I ask and he says something with our apartment. I call and they said we never paid them rent. Even if I hadn't we should have recieved notice of it on our door or a phone call or something. But we got nothing. So I explain to them that rent most certainly was paid and They tell me to hold on and they put me on hold. They come back and say that they found the check but it was found by the maintenance man that morning in the night drop slot. I tell her that it was impossible. She calls me a liar and if I have anything to say then I can go to talk to their lawyer. Long story short. Because they had sent it to the lawyer they wanted us to pay court costs and filing fees and late fees and the rest of our lease agreement if we wanted to stay. So I told them to buzz off. I couldnt afford to pay 3500 dollars just to stay in that hell hole. I do not recommend these apts to anyone for any reason. STAY AWAY!!!
