After having lived there for a year and a half, I moved out of a one bedroom unit on the third floor last week to move in to an apt in hville with my friend. The determining factor of choosing lenoxgate was the office staff and the special they were running at the time. The office staff was friendly and dealt well with my application, lease, and move in process. This was the first place i lived (aside from my college dorm) out on my own & i felt comfortable. im now moving to a new complex in hville so i was on this site browsing the reviews from my new neighborhood and drifted over to lenoxgate reviews out of curiousity. The maintence men may be casual but they were never rude to me. the few times i needed assistance, they were there promptly even when i couldnt get in my door because of a wasp problem. i called the office who sent maintence personnel over with insecticide immediately.
The only negatives about this place would be the confusion with the gate, the sometimes minimal amount of lighting outside, and my car was towed out of the parking lot because my tags were expired. I didnt know that was in any way the responsiblity of an apartment complex but the courtesy officer tried his best to explain the liability the complex would undertake with such a situation. anyway, no apartment complex is perfect and i wouldnt say i had low standards even though this was my first place. the maintence men are cool and lisa, karen, and/or rachel from the office always seemed eager to help when i needed it. give 'em a chance.
