Often those who write negative reviews have an axe to grind. Most negative reviews come from persons who are being sued, for one reason or another by the apartment community. Examples:Late Rent,damage to the apartment home. I have lived at Piccadilly three different times over the course of twenty years. Maintenance requests are normally completed the same day.The grounds are clean, and are filled with large trees and wildlife. The apartments are older , but they are in great shape.Water and sewer are included in the rent.You will rarely find this anywhere.I have lived in many rental homes in my life.For the price,location,and service,you will not find many better. If you are unhappy with your apartment when you first see it tell the property manager and request that it be fixed or do not sign the lease.Research your apartment for yourself.Opinions vary.

I have no ax to grind as many people don't; I am just giving fair warning to everyone because we all deserve it. When I did live there I was never sued, always paid my rent on time, no damages (got all my deposit back) and I am not perfect, but I feel like I was a good tenant and always tried to speak nicely to the staff about problems that occurred. I know several people who are in the same boat as me that lived there and were treated badly. That is what this site is for though to give the good AND the bad opinions and that's all it is. Like you said people should check it out for themselves. No one is trying to tell others what to do. That happened to me when looking for a house a month ago; found some bad reviews about the builder on-line, but it turns out that a few people just couldn't get their pain in the butt way and decided to complain. I have to talked to many happy people since then so I feel safe. Honestly though I found a lot better in the area for the price.

ALL I KNOW IS THAT MELENNA EDWARDS IS A HORRIBLE PROPERTY MANAGER AND IS MUCH MORE CONCERNED WITH BEING RIGHT THAN DOING WHAT'S RIGHT. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS AND HEARD THIS NUMEROUS TIMES. IT KILLS ME THAT SHE HAS NO SUPERVISOR TO CURTAIL HER RUDENESS.
