Don't Move In Here!!

I lived in these apartments for almost 4 years. The people that are in the office are not helpful at all. They really could care less about the people that live in the complex. All they really care about is getting a pay check. The assistant manager is an arrogant no for good nothing snob that doesn't care about anybody but himself and pretends to know what is going on around the complex all of the time when he doesn't even live there. The only people that I had any luck with dealing with were the maintenance guys. They were the only ones that seemed like they actually cared about what was going on. I know not everybody felt the same about them and felt that they were the same as the people that were down in the office. But they in my opinion were the only ones worth anything in the entire complex and that isn't saying much. Gated community that would help if the whole thing was gated not just the swimming pool and the gates that you drive through. That is not a gated community come on people. Since when do these people think we are that stupid. I mean really. They continuously raise the rent and half of the time don't even tell you. Half the time the way that they deal with things is illegal. Raise the rent on the people that are paying month to month and then after they get the check you get a phone call or a letter on your door saying that they raised your rent and saying that they are going to contact their lawyer or that they have contacted their lawyer. I mean come on they have to give you ample warning to raise the rent. If you have to give a 60 day notice to move out they they should have to give you a 60 day notice that they are going to raise your rent. But they won't because they are to greedy. In fact I'm surprised that the company that owns it hasn't changed as well as the people the office. Cause forever about every 3-4 months the ownership and the people in the office was changing. Half the time the lights in the parking lot and the lights in the breezeways don't work/half burned out. Parking what a joke. It's sad when you don't go anywhere after 6 pm because you don't want to have to lose your parking spot and have to park all the way up at the office and have to cary everything all the way up to your apartment because you have a for instance 1 person that has to have 3 cars for 1 person. When you are planning on going somewhere at night and you call whoever you are going with and have them pick you up so you don't have to lose your parking spot. I mean come on why should you have to pay that much in rent to not have one parking spot.

Pardon me if I am wrong...but isn't the assistant manager a girl? If you are that unhappy why don't you move out...sounds like you are on a month to month lease anyway if your rent is going up every month because we all know that you are locked in at a price when you sign your lease. Every 3-4 months management & staff changes? Really? I think you might want to check your sources on that one....you might be wrong, actually you are way off! Anyway, good luck with that parking problem....

I agree with this response. Seems like an awful lot of complaining for being there so long. And yes, the Assistant Manager is a girl now. It was a guy but he moved a couple months ago. And was very nice, by the way. At least we don't have to worry about this guy parking on the curb anymore. Hopefully it's the guy with the red Dodge Charger I always want to slam into for blocking the drive.
