I've been pretty satisfied with my apartment. I'm on the 3rd floor and I can count the number of times I've heard my neighbors on one hand. The pools are nice and the grounds are always well kept. There is a problem with tenants walking their dogs too close to the buildings, but the office has sent out multiple notices about it. The staff is trying to fix the problem, this is a shortcoming of careless neighbors.

The office staff has been friendly and the only problem I've had is when they changed the lock on the laundry room door. The door was open when I brought my laundry down, but someone closed it and my clothes were locked in. I tried calling the night attendant and got no response. Luckily, someone with the new key showed up.

Be prepared to pay for water here though. When I moved in, they were paying the water bill. That was one of the reasons I chose this apartment over one down the street. 3 months after I moved in, they began adding $20 a month to the rent to pay for water. I have a 1 BR apartment w/ W/D hookups, but do not have a W/D. I know I do not use $20 a month in water.

One of the reasons I wanted an upstairs apartment was to avoid insects. I've had bottom floor apartments before and had problems with crickets. I would gladly trade the spiders I have now for the crickets I used to have. I began finding them shortly after I moved in. I am 99% sure they are brown recluses. When I first moved in, I killed at least 10 in the first few months. I still find 1 or 2 a month. And then there are the outside spiders on my balcony. During the summer and fall, my balcony is unusable at night because of the spiders hanging out in their webs. During the day, they are hiding and I've tried knocking down the webs. But they come back every night.

It seems I've complained more than I've complemented, but these complaints seem pretty standard for most apartments. The only reason I'm moving is because my commute is too long and I'm moving closer to work.
