The Good: Everything. The management is very courteous, and handle matters to the extent they can solve things. Another guy on here complained about Gables adding 20$ a month to the rent for water...I was notified of a balance I had, and being suspicious, I looked into it and found out that my rent was supposed to be $460, not $440 like I'd been paying. but it was a 120 dollar balance, and I'd been living there 9 months not 6. I didn't argue with why I shouldn't be paying more and paid the balance. What else.
I had a recurring problem with my toilet not flushing, so after business hours(like 8PM on a saturday) I called and left a message notifying them of me and my wife's problem...the guy showed up in 4 minutes and fixed it. the next morning he came back to fix the drains in my bathroom that weren't draining. So, response time is awesome. Someone else complained about the kids. Contrary to their opinion, I'd have to say that the kids here aren't that bad, and the wee ones are actually pretty courteous to me. The rent is the lowest in town, and they're the cleanest I've seen anywhere in the area. There are spiders in the outside patio and the outside storage closet, but seeing as the patio is OUTSIDE, I really have no right to complain about it. If I spray windex out in the corners once a week, they don't show up.

The Bad' the only thing I can really think of is all the jackasses with jacked up trucks and mustangs and honda civics with the coffee can on the back blasting their ungodly exhaust noise every night. Very many times it's woken me up at like 3AM on any night of the week. Even the motorcycle guys(no harleys, thank god) are reserved. It gets old. But You get past things like this in life.

I have a neighbor upstairs with a cat that makes random, creepy thumping noises everywhere on his floor. This would be obnoxious, but the Wife and I seem to think it too humorous to be annoyed. It's fun speculating why he must be roaming about his apartment, tapping on the floors with a 5lb sledgehammer omniously. Most strange.

Anyhow.

Good Gables. No complaints. Most of my mail is emergency overdue loan statements and bank statements from previous owners. This, likewise, is funny. But it's a good place, if asked if I like it...I love it. No problem. Just the jackass NASCAR/Drag Strip guys. But small fries.
