Great View of Madison (you'll wish you were there)

Ok. First, it is right on the border of Madison (where in lays some problems). Some of the thuggish and more crime filled areas of Madison seem to have spilled right over into this part of Hendersonville. It is not uncommon to watch trashy cars (straight out of a 70's drug movie) cruise the parking lot and make many circles. This is especially unnerving at night due to the poorly lit complex and the number of sirens one hears at all hours of the night. Then there is the problem with pets. We moved here because they quoted themselves, as a "pet friendly" community. When we first moved in the office staff was very excited about our dogs and the potty stations were always clean and well stocked. Now.....not so much (not at all in the winter). The stations are usually without bags and over flowing with waste (at one time the trash cans were even removed). Whenever you talk to the office staff, they have nothing but stupid stares, as if to say, its not our problem. Then there is the noise. Besides the sirens, there are all kinds of noises. At all hours of the night you can hear basket balls thumping through the breeze ways and babies crying. And what ever you do, be careful what area you move into. Lower floor apartments can get very nerve racking, as a small toddler jumping around sounds like a herd of elephants rampaging. The ceilings and wall are very thin. Another thing to consider is the price. The apartments look nice (when we moved in, we thought so), but don't be fooled. The apartments are way over priced, and none of that money goes to help. Like I mentioned the potty stations are under maintained, so I don't even see what the purpose of pet rent is. But, on the other hand, while it has a lot of flaws, it does have its pluses. Such as..... well, there is..... One thing for sure.... Ok, honestly there are not many pluses, except its close to the interstate. But, unless if commute time is your only concern, beware. Not a great place to visit, and even worse to live.
