I have been living here for 6 months now. I can't say enough good things. The office staff is friendly and eager to help with any issue you might have. The maintenance crew is professional and right on the stick about things. If you need something fixed, it is fixed that day. Even if it is a problem at night. Neighbors are friendly and helpful, and Very rarely do I hear my neighbors. Only when they are coming up the stairs. Haven't been to the pool yet, but it looked very nice. They keep the grounds cleaned up. Bedrooms are spacaious, lacking in storage, but master bedroom has a huge walk in closet. Good size laundry room, plenty of space in kitchen. Nice storage in kitchen. Parking right under our apt is non existent, but I park across and the xtra 20 steps doesn't hurt. Lacking in things for the kids to do, but there is a nice play area. Basketball court needs a little attention. Like I said, can't complain...for the price this is GREAT!!!!

All of this has changed. The adjoining apartment complex, Carrington Place Apartments, purchased the Bluegrass complex in April of 2008. Carrington's trademark is BAD management and total lack of communication toward residents. Bluegrass has gone from local ownership to corporate ownership. It's presently undergoing a facelift but the underlying structure is 40 years old and in bad condition.
