I have to totally agree with the previous posts about the water bills. I just ended my lease and moved out and my final water bill is over $100 which is the highest it has ever been since I lived here! Seems strange to me considering I moved out of the apt more than 3 weeks ago! Granted I have a two bedroom apt but I purchased a 3 br/2ba house and my water bill there is only about 30$ each month.

I was happy w/Monthaven when I first moved there in 2002 but the place is going downhill. Granted the grounds are great but the quality of people moving in is getting worse by the day (i.e. teenagers who shoot fire crackers off the third floor balcony and make lude comments when you try to walk around the complex). Not to mention that you can't park anywhere near your building if you get home past about 7p.m.

I am certainly glad to be gone from there and would not recommend these apartments.
