I just had a ceiling leak in my apartment. The ceiling was so wet that it puffed up and water stains appeared. The maintenance man that looked at it said that it needed the sheetrock cut out and the ceiling needed to be dried out for two days. I asked them about this at the office the Lead Main Maintenance Man didn't know A thing about it. So, the office put in a work order to have the ceiling done. The Lead Maintenance Man comes in and says that the ceiling is dry and sprays this stuff on it and says it kills mold and that the ceiling doesn't need to be repaired. But, mold grows on the inside of the walls. It can stay wet inside the walls for a long time and mold can grow were you can't see it. It can make a person with allergeries very sick. The Health Department can shut this place down.
My wife told me when got home about this and I was angry. So, called the office and I got the answering machine. I was leaving a message. Told them That thier Lead Maintenance Man was lazy. The Manager picked up the phone and told me not to speak ill of her Maintenance Man and that she was not going to take from me or anyone else. So, if her Maintenance man is not doing his job right I am to keep my mouth shut and say nothing. This is very unhealthy for anyone to live in these apartments.
There Laundry rooms they put combination locks on the doors and put a combination that was so easy that the kids could figure it out and they did. They did this because kids broke in in the first place and stole money out of the vending machines. They said they wanted combination number that anybody could remember. Well it was to easy to figure out. Now I am informed that the locks don't even work now. Maintenance latches that hold the doors closed.

I have lived in both Sumner Estates and Wessington House apartments on separate occasions. I am happier with them than Waterview apartments (also in Hendersonville), but cannot afford to live in a better apartment in Hendersonville, and do not want my kids living in a bad neighborhood. The quality of tenants here is ridiculous, and maintenance is a complete JOKE. They do not fix anything, and my air conditioner has been "rigged" for three consecutive summers now. They have a high turnover rate in maintenance workers, and none of them care about the residents at all. The leave a mess and do not know what they are doing. I have gotten to where I fix what I can myself. The new manager here is extremely rude and very mean. She lives on the property, and in my opinion is not experienced for her position at all. It is a terrible place to live, and if you can afford to not live here, then stay away. The children here as young as 6 roam around all day long with no adult supervision, and I do not let my children play outside here at all without being right by their side. I hate it here and it is not worth $590 a month for a 2 bedroom whatsoever.

When a resident has an issue with an air conditioner, maintenance is to make repairs if the air conditioner is not repaireable then we grt approval to replace them. The manager dfoes inforce the rules of the apartment community, and this does upset residents from time to time. Howevere, their are residents that are happy that the manager invorces the rules.

"Inforce?" "Repaireable?" "Howevere?" "their?" Did you not pass the third grade, lady? Come on! You guys DO NOT FIX THINGS!!! Approved or NOT! YOU SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT US TENANTS!!!!! NEVER HAVE. If you are so determined to make a positive name for yourself, then you must DO POSITIVE THINGS!
