I chose to live at Williamsburg because I got such a great deal. The usual rent for the apartment was $640 with a deposit. They let us have it for $600 per month with no deposit. How could I pass that up'





It is fairly quiet. Sometimes I can hear my neighbors, but not usually. Parking was a problem when I first moved in, but that was resolved. I was actually surprised at how fast they resolved that.





That?s about it for the good stuff. When we first viewed the apartment, we had to wade thru the cobwebs to get in the door. The stairwells and building hallways are dirty with LOTS of cobwebs.






You will often see groups of people playing in the parking lots. Kids play baseball around your cars and the adults ride a kid-sized four-wheeler around your cars. There were too many close calls for my comfort.




The hookups for the washer leaks. I called the maintenance department and they begrudging came out to fix it. He did something and it fixed it for about an hour. Then it started leaking again. I?ve lived here three months and the main breaker has thrown five times.





Now my biggest issue with Williamsburg Apartments is how they handled this situation. They were required by the City of Hendersonville to install a backflow device for the water system. They gave everyone a notice that the water would be off between 9:00 and 5:00. By 7:00, the water was still not on, so I called the maintenance department. They promised that it would be on by 9:00p. However, it is 9:17a the next morning and I still have no water. I feel they should have done everything in their power to get it completed on time. As of right now, they have no idea when it will be fixed. Never mind the fact that people need to shower to go to work or get ready for school, they didn?t seem to care when I called the office this morning.





I would not recommend Williamsburg to anyone. I think it is very important to handle your maintenance issues promptly and thoroughly. Williamsburg Apartments is not good at doing that.
