We have 4 children and they have been yelled at so far by the maintainace man for riding their bikes in front of "his" garage.. Now today someone (I havent found out who exactly) yelled at my 2 youngest making my 7yr old cry about using sidewalk chalk. These children in this complex get yelled at no matter what they do here. Sidewalk chalk is a harmless form of play. Where is the playground promise 1 and a 1/2 years ago' Children could be doing alot worse things around here than writing on the cement with chalk. I have had numerous other children running around swearing , swinging metal pipes at other children ect. We are really considering not continuing our lease here as it has proven to not be what we have been promised.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! IF YOU ARE GOING TO RESPOND PAY ATTENTION!!!! When you move somewhere and you are promised things like a playground for the children and a secured gate,(along with many other things)and these thing either DONT WORK FOR A YEAR, THE STAFF IS RUDE, or Avalon never followed through on these things, IT IS A PROBLEM AND A CONCERN. Not to mention they change staff so often you can expect things not to get taken care of. THATS A MANAGEMENT PROBLEM!!!! NOW Regarding our children, they are VERY WELL behaved..you have no right to judge them. Dont put my children in the same category as MOST of the children here who dont ever have to check in at their house or go home to eat ANY meal during the day,run around all the time and threaten other children. Why dont you go talk to their parents because I can let you know who they are. Other peoples children come to our house to play because we give them attention and feed them. Our children dont WANDER the parking lot without supervision. We know where our children are all the time. They do deserve to have a place to play AS WERE WERE PROMISED. However writing on the cement with chalk is hardly worth making a 7 yr old cry. And as you can see the rain took it all away. . We pay our rent just as you do and our children deserve to be able to play and feel comfortable in their own home. So go spread your ADVISE to the parents who DONT watch their children. Not to the few of us parents who do control their children! And if you dont like children move to a place where they dont allow them!!!!!!!

So you are one of the parents that lets their children using the entire facilities as their playground? Good for Avalon for trying to control the problem! Your kids should not be allowed to wonder the parking lot with no supervision!

Decent people don't want to rent apartments and have to put up with a bunch of bratts running around riding their bikes in the parking lot, writing all over the sidewalks making it look like a welfare ghetto. I'm sure they dont have enough brains to get out of the way of cars when they ride their bikes from the sounds of you. Keep your kids on your own patio. Good for Avalon.
