We had a a great experience at Avalon. We lived there for two years before we bought our home. We always supervised our children Its the dogs I had a problem with. I love dogs too but their should be some guidelines on dogs sizes and breed allowed. The office staff was easy to get along with (most of the time).We did have a few mishaps though. The apartment itsef had great amenties but things like cabinets were not installed correctly and the paint job in our apartment was not the greatest. We also had problems with our apartment not being well insulated. That cost us a lot of money which Avalon office staff worked out with us and other than the four mice we caught one winter everything was great!!!

I think you must have got lucky. My experience has been horrible. They will not work with anyone on price. I found out i am paying more that a hundred dollars a month more than people who have a garage and i don't have one. I confronted the management and was told i shouldn't have signed the lease if i didn't like the price. Funny thing is they are charging me more that 200 dollars more than my contract. They are two faced and out to get anyone that moves in. Plus they are bringing in section 8 and student housing. But yet i pay a fortune and get get anything fixed when it breaks. Do not come here. It has turned into an overpriced, undermanaged ghetto. Please don't waste your money or put a family in this kind of environment.
