I'd consider several factors if moving to Burning Tree. Do you like noise' DO you enjoy children skate boarding and throwing rocks, bumping into your car now and then saying "oops"' Can you deal with cigarette butts all over your yard and property if you plant flowers' And last but not least, how do you feel about "seedy" individuals moving in next door with people coming and going all hours of the night and Metro police cars driving thru alot to pick up people for crimes' That is our experience. Ive lived here for four years and during that time although the Buildings Do look ALOT nicer, the staff has changed a million times, and every time one person says one thing, later you find its not true. You sign the lease to be told there is a five day grace period and rent is due no later than 5th, only to receive a newsletter two mths later from manager stating rent is LATE AFTER the 1st and there is no grace period. Also, no matter how many times you ask about noise, no one seems to do anything about it. And many folks have others living with them that are not on the lease and they get a great deal living in a INCOME RESTRICTION place however they have three others dividing the rent with them that arent on the lease and shouldnt be here' IS this fair when others have to move out because they make more than the income restriction allows' I really think that there needs to be alot more done at this property. I've seen many of the good residents leave only to have seedy ones move in. Not saying there arent nice neighbors there are but there is ALOT of crime now and I dont feel safe. The kids are everywhere and skateboard and run and bump your cars and no one seems to manager the property to ensure kids are not skateboarding and riding bikes all over and your property isnt safe. ALso be sure to PAY FORY OUR PARKING STIcker, if you have two cars, they CHARGE you (yes believe it or not) Two people on rent, they CHARGE for a 2nd sticker... and you pay to use the pool to with a pool pass. GO to stewarts ferry. Parking stickers are free there, there are no children skateboarding, prettier grounds and less noise for about the same price.

It sounds like you need to move into a senior citizens home. 1. Kids will be around no matter where you are 2. The grounds are nice but you make your home what it is, no one else! 3. It sounds like you are a real nosey person that puts their nose in others business if you know about who's on their lease and who's not, I sure wouldn't want you as my neighbor!!! As far as the parking is concerned, I don't mind paying for a sticker so that I can have a spot for my two cars and that if someone is parked in my area without a sticker I can have them towed!!! Paying for the pool pass ($5.00) isn't an issue either since it stops non-residence from coming in to use our pool, $5 is a small price to pay for that considering I have lived there when we had riff raff from neighboring complexes in our pool.

Sounds like the manager to me. The kids are disrespectful are not under anyones control, and do throw rocks and skateboard down the middle of the street. If you are trying to drive through they ignore you, Burning Tree is a lousy place to live.

I have been here for 15 years and I have not one time had any problems. yes kids are rude and yes there are some bad people here and that is anywhere you go. I lived here when all you saw was drug deals, people being beat with baseball bats etc... and this place is no where near what it used to be. I do agree you make your place the way you want it. instead of complaining ask what you can do to help make the property better. I pick up cig butts all the time and I don't even smoke whats the big deal are you to good to pick up a cig butt or trash, talk to the children you maybe the only nice person they will meet love goes along way.
