Not that bad - I would return

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
My wife and I moved to Hermitage in Jan 2004 for a new job. Apartment ratings showed near an 80% approval rating at that time. We lived in two different buildings while we were at Cherry Creek with different experiences in both. Our first apartment was a two bedroom in the newest part (Phase 3') of the complex. The construction in this building was very good and much better (very good) than the origional (near the duck pond). During our move in the staff was wonderful. We continually had interaction with two staff members that was very positive.
When we moved to the older section of the complex the construction was considerably worse. It appeared that the buildings in the orgional section were put up in a rush. However, the construction I would still rate a better than average in apartments. These apartments are the only ones that I toured that had real wood buring fire places. We also liked having the ducks around at the pond.
The staff during this time would do special unexpected things, like give out bags of candy on Valentines Day to residents driving into the complex. The always had cookouts / parties during the summer.
The negative side I have noticed in some other posts here for Cherry Cheek. You should expect a little different treatment (cold shoulder) when you are ready to move out. The staff will no longer have much time to work with you and you will get an unexpected bill when you leave.
