My wife and I moved here in January 2008. Due to time constraints resulting from accepting employment in the area, we had to find a place in a hurry. After an exhaustive search in the South Nashville area and finishing in the East, we were happy with what we found here. I feel the price is comparable to living. There are items that need repair due to age and wear, but because of our immediate need we were happy they accommodated us in prepping an apartment as quickly as they did.We do at times have some noisy neighbors that work 2nd shift and like to cut loose now and again. We have lived in several apartment complexes, and all things considered feel this will do for now. Management(ownership') at White Oaks has recently changed hands and it will be interesting to monitor the progress. There are a lot of eye catching changes going on;new entrance landscaping, exterior paint on the units,remodeled office and pool area. We haven't spoken with the new management regarding all changes to take place and hope some of our concerns will be addressed in the near future.Such as inadequately maintained laundry facilities(with that said we obviously don't have washer/dryer connections in our apartment because one simply wasn't available at the time)mail boxes in need of repair, kitchen cabinets needing shelving repair or replacement.I hear rumor of new appliances coming soon and hope this to be a reality as our dishwasher is not reliable. No matter where you live, there will always be concerns and things needing repair, time will tell if the new Management is up for the challenge. We certainly hope they will be.
